Tai Chi
Shaolin priests began the practice of Tai Chi in the 5th century China.
It evolved into a fighting martial art form before becoming the practice we are familiar with today from the Yang style lineage.
Yang style Tai Chi has become a popular form of moving meditation and has been studied and shown to have benefits physically, mentally and emotionally.
The style of movement engages the body, breath, and mind in a moving meditation. It is low impact, slow, deliberate, and controlled movements that seamlessly flow from the dan tian and breath while harnessing the power of chi.
